Hourly Non-ExemptPOSITION SUMMARYThis is a full time working supervisory position overseeing the efforts of the housekeeping and event set up crews.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESWorking supervision of housekeeping and event set up staffOversee proper use and care of equipment Oversee collection of data from staff for department reportsInspects work for proper executionTraining of staff in best practices of facility cleaning and event set up to include use of cleaning chemicals, light cleaning machinery, forklift, etc.

Assists in set up, tear down and servicing of eventsResponsible for attending organization and planning meetings for event-related activitiesAll other duties/responsibilities as assignedWORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in a fast paced environment requiring multi-tasking of responsibilities and overlapping deadlines.

Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Must have the ability to walk extended distances and climb stairs. Physical requirements include the ability to lift lbs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESHigh school diploma or G.E.D.2-3 years supervisory experience preferredMust be able to speak, read, and write English fluentlyExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsAbility to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including senior managementAbility to work long and irregular hours that will vary dependent upon event functions and will include day, evening, weekends and holidaysMechanical aptitude helpfulPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
