Job SummaryJob Summary
TEAM Charter Preschools is seeking to fill future classified substitute vacancies in the Preschool department. This position is temporary, part time, non-benefit eligible, and employees will be called on as needed. Currently, TEAM Charter has two preschool sites, one at 621 E. Market Street Stockton, CA and another at 1016 E. Bianchi Road Stockton, CA. Preschool programs operate from 6:00 am- 6:00 pm. Requirements / Qualifications
Under the supervision of the lead teacher and site supervisor, the teacher's assistant is responsible for supporting the teaching staff to implement all components of equality in the preschool program.
Utilizing quality components such as:
working effectively with parents, maintaining positive staff relations and supporting the teachers to develop age appropriate programs for 3-5 year old children
EXPERIENCE AND
EDUCATION:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma OR Equivalent OR Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree or Higher Education Degree Preschool Permit (Teacher Assistant, Associate Teacher, Master Teacher) DOJ FBI CA Clearance TB TEST Transcripts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee in this position must have/be able to: Enter data into a computer terminal/typewriter and operate standard office equipment.
See and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids. Lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at waist height for short distances.Bend at the waist. Reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, grasp, push/pull.
Physical endurance and the ability to work primarily in a standing position CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employment is contingent upon fingerprint and background clearance, and tuberculosis test clearance
