    Description
    Piper Companies is currently searching for a Medical Director - Principal Investigator in Salt Lake City, Nevada. In this role, the Medical Director - Principal Investigator will play a crucial role overseeing study trials to ensure safety standards are upheld when supporting cutting edge research and industry leading early-phase projects. This is a full time role that is on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah

    Responsibilities for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include:
    • Evaluate and manage the safety of participants throughout the lifecycle of the clinical trials
    • Monitor participants and account for any adverse events and initiate proper actions if needed
    • Participate in protocol development, and study reporting
    • Supervise the studies and ensure protocol adherence
    • Complete case report forms and present safety issues within meetings
    • Maintain knowledge of medical best practices
    • Review laboratory results, eligibility criteria, and safety parameters in accordance with study protocols
    Qualifications for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include:
    • Medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent)
    • Active Medical License in Utah or willingness to obtain Utah licensure
    • Experience in clinical research, preferably in pharmaceutical or CRO settings
    • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
    Compensation for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include:
    • Salary: $145,000-$180,000, depending on prior experience
