Description
The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County seeks a passionate and qualified mental health clinician.

Reporting to the Director of Outpatient Services, the mental health clinician will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic interventions to youth and adults.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a minimum caseload of eight clients, providing psychotherapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings, utilizing strengthbased counseling modalities.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and psychosocial histories to determine individual and family needs.
  • Collaborate with clients and/or families to develop attainable goals and treatment plans.
  • Develop crisis safety plans in collaboration with clients and families to ensure their wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and statistics to track client progress and outcomes.
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and support systems.
  • Collaborate and consult with other providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Engage in community outreach activities within Monmouth County to raise awareness of our outpatient program.
  • Attend team meetings and weekly clinical supervision sessions.

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in a recognized mental health discipline.
  • Appropriate licensure or certification, including LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC.
  • Spanish bilingual (preferred), with the ability to effectively communicate and provide therapy in both English and Spanish languages.
