- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Ohio.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB(CphT) or NHA(ExCPT)
- Full-time position involving a mix of 10-hour shifts (starting at 8 am and 9 am) or 12-hour shifts (starting at 7 am). Monthly weekend shifts from 9 am to 7:30 pm. Occasional evening shifts to cover vacations, rotated among staff.
- Salary range of $37,500 to $50,000 based on experience, complemented by comprehensive benefits.
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients and care areas safely, efficiently, and promptly.
- Aid in all drug preparation and distribution processes.
- Address the unique requirements of patient populations spanning neonates to geriatrics.
- Oversee departmental clerical duties and maintain records.
- Prepare intravenous medications, unit doses, and compounded drugs with aseptic techniques.
- Collect medication histories and allergies, updating Electronic Health Records for new Emergency Department admissions.
- Provide updates on patients with complex medication needs to pharmacists.
- Manage patient account charges and credits.
- Handle pharmacy medication orders, receipts, and stocks accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and professional practices.
- The position is situated northeast of Columbus.
