    Description

    About the Job: As the Executive Director of Boulder Park Terrace, you'll be in charge of both internal and external operations to make sure everything runs smoothly. You'll report directly to the President of McLaren Northern Michigan or their delegate, and the Board of Trustees.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Overseeing all activities at Boulder Park Terrace
    • Implementing and enforcing Board of Trustees policies
    • Managing the human, financial, and technical resources of Boulder Park Terrace
    • Ensuring top-notch patient and medical care services
    • Engaging in community health programs
    • Maintaining financial integrity

    Here are some of the tasks you'll handle:

    • Creating annual plans for quality, productivity, and patient/staff satisfaction
    • Developing operating and capital budgets
    • Improving staff recruitment and retention processes
    • Providing leadership in operations and finance
    • Presenting results and progress to the Board
    • Formulating Business Development Plans
    • Building relationships with healthcare providers
    • Engaging in legislative processes
    • Participating in professional groups

    Requirements:

    • Background in nursing home or business administration
    • Licensed nursing home administrator
    • Preferably 5+ years of experience in nursing home administration

    Appointment of the Executive Director will be based on the President of McLaren Northern Michigan's recommendation. Terms and conditions of employment will be documented in a formal agreement.
