- Executes tasks as appropriate to meet client and business requirements; investigates technologies to best solve problems, and develops and documents architecture to solve problems.
- Takes ownership of the software product throughout the lifecycle of the software and client requirements; confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, and client.
- Writes project requirements and develops validation plans; programs and validates programming against plans and requirements.
- Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions; maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Ensures operation per system requirements by following instructions; troubleshoots malfunctions; debugs and escalates as appropriate.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
