SUMMARY OF POSITION


The Service Hub Manager oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations at the Service Hub, ensuring that customers and company goals and values are met.

The Operations Manager will comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to his own actions and conduct.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the training of all new employees according to the tasks outlined in the customer SOW
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Track all inventory items for accuracy and perform a daily audit
  • Work collaboratively with the customer to report any issues found on the aircraft or if additional work is needed outside the SOW
  • Manage the Company's Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit/monitor employees to ensure they understand, implement and maintain compliance with all policies, requirements, and procedures
  • Perform quality audits and work with Service Hub Area Manager to implement quality improvements
  • Work collaboratively and urgently with appropriate stakeholders to resolve quality escapes or defects
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Be an approachable representative of the team, consistently embodying the core values of Prime Appearance
  • Maintain all maintenance and upkeep on Service Hub utility van(s)
  • Ensure hourly employees are performing all tasks listed within the customer SOW and complete any HR write up's accordingly
  • Ensure hourly employees are working schedule based on required hours per customer contract
  • Verify hourly employee punches in UltiPro daily
  • Other duties as assigned, but not covered herein

WORKING/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to observe details within 10 feet of the observer
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (threedimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions; must be able to work in allweather environments
  • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the hangar and/or office area to access office machinery, aircraft, aircraft related equipment, etc.
  • Daily ascends/descends a ladder/stair to service an aircraft and/or audit services completed
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as printer, calculator, copy machine, etc
  • Constantly positions self to maintain files in file cabinets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively in English
  • Demonstrated computer software experience with MS Office (MS Word and Excel)
  • Basic working knowledge of adhering to financial budgets and reading financial reports
  • Proven experience in effective verbal and nonverbal communication

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean and verifiable driving record
  • Must successfully pass AOA/TSA and local facility badging and fingerprinting process at assigned airport, where applicable
  • Meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent may be substituted with five or more years related experience in training and/or compliance
  • Experience working in the aviation industry preferred
  • Demonstrated minimum of one year of operations experience required
