Job Purpose:


The Comfort Advisor is responsible for the generation, facilitation and overall end-to-end sales process of all products and services for McWilliams and Son.


Detailed Responsibilities:

Respond to all customer inquiries during the sales process.
Maintain expert knowledge of company products and services and drive maximum profitability through in home sales.
Create and facilitate all sales tickets, sales functions and coordinate with all necessary parties to ensure that
sales proceed smoothly and efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction.
Present findings and options to customers, providing advice as needed/requested. Provide customers with
information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements.
Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain the company's
products and services.
Conduct a thorough inspection of interior and exterior areas of potential customer's property to determine
how best to serve the customer.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and
quotations, complaints and scheduling of deliveries and installations, and providing customer follow-ups.
Make sales presentations to customers based on inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions,
explaining the process and setting expectations.
Focus on securing the maximum profitable sales opportunity with each customer through excellent selling,
service and problem-solving.
Effectively manage relationships with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
Develop profitable business with new customers through excellent selling, service and problem-solving.
Achieve sales performance objectives through assigned leads and new business development.
Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best
overall solution for each customer's needs.
Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products. Obtains information on pricing specifications, uses and
availability.
Code and input customer orders, pricing information and additional data into the computer system.
Maintain a professional image at all times by wearing company approved uniform.
Maintain a courteous demeanor with clients and associates at all times.
Ensure complete customer satisfaction and/or salesperson/supervisor sign-off upon completion of work.
Abide by all standards of performance and ethics.
Participate in company sponsored training classes and other duties as assigned.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and inform a manager or team leader of any safety issues.

Share expertise, guiding customers to make the best product and service selections that will provide value to their business, while enhancing company profitability.

Complete all paperwork required by management and record hours and all materials used.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High School diploma or GED is required.
Previous inside sales experience required/preferred.
Industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
Must have valid driver's license.
Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
Ability to lift 100 pounds
Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.
Neat, clean, professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills with a desire to exceed
client expectations and function in a team environment.


Working Conditions:

Job generally works indoors inside customers' homes. Job requires frequent driving.


Physical Requirements:


Job generally works indoors and is somewhat physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy objects on an occasional basis, and working with challenging clients.
