How you'll make an impact:


What you'll do:


  • Metadata quality assurance
  • Ensure that the quality of descriptive metadata meets SiriusXM's standards and adheres to internal guidelines


  • Metadata Analysis

  • Work with Metadata Manager to provide ongoing, datadriven, feedback intended to drive improvement in metadata tagging
  • Communicate best practices to content creators and serve as point of contact for ongoing support
  • Collaborate with Product & Technology and Content organizations to prioritize metadata normalization efforts
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What you'll need:


  • 1 + years of experience with content metadata
  • Experience with CMS, data asset management, libraries, or digital collections
  • Knowledge of taxonomy standards and bestpractices for metadata tagging
  • Passion and depth of knowledge of one or more of following: Music, Sports, Politics/News, Entertainment
  • Knowledge of current streaming, music and talk radio user experience strategies is strongly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, and process information quickly and with precision
  • Excellent time management skills; the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
