How you'll make an impact:


As the Director, Corporate Physical Security at SiriusXM, your primary responsibilities will be to develop a comprehensive and effective security program to ensure the physical safety of all employees, visitors, customers, and vendors across our workplaces.

You will also be entrusted with identifying potential risks and threats and implementing measures to mitigate them.


What you'll do:


  • Develop and communicate the overall strategy for corporate physical security, aligning it with SiriusXM's business objectives.
  • Create and implement security policies and standards that adhere to industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement physical security measures, emergency preparedness and response plans, travel security protocols, protective intelligence strategies, and investigations.
  • Establish auditing and inspection protocols to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality checks of all security services.
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and protocols for various situations.
  • Oversee security operations and logistics for largescale corporate events and highprofile visits.
  • Assess systems, alarms, and other physical security measures for effectiveness.
  • Maintain security equipment such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Design and deliver company education programs on security policies and topics for management and employees.
  • Trains and supervises other security personnel to ensure they are aware of company policies and procedures regarding security measures.
  • Develop security procedures and training to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop securityrelated standards and policies (visitor management, ID/access credentials, mail and package screening, etc.).
  • Identify and manage emerging threats.
  • Lead a comprehensive security risk assessment program.
  • Lead security incident and crisis response to resolution.
  • Monitor vendor Service Level Agreements/Key Performance Indicators, capacity, and workflow plans for multiple functional areas.
  • Become the trusted security advisor to senior management and leaders across the organization through highlevel communication and excellent briefing skills.
  • Successfully manage a large security budget commensurate with the scope and scale of the area of responsibility.
  • Manage multiple security projects concurrently establish and track project milestones and deliverables and align key stakeholders.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in construction security planning, design, and oversight for new and existing construction security projects.
