    The IT Asset Management Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing, organizing, and reporting on IT equipment within our warehouse. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in warehouse operations, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with management to set both short and long-term goals, working autonomously on a daily basis to achieve these objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, developing and implementing policies and procedures for tracking and managing IT assets, and coordinating with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely acquisition and disposal of assets. Additionally, the IT Asset Management Specialist will monitor and report on asset utilization, maintenance, and compliance, while conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset records. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a continuous desire for process improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness in warehouse operations.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware.

    Develop and implement policies and procedures for tracking and managing IT assets throughout their lifecycle.

    Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely acquisition and disposal of IT assets.

    Monitor and report on IT asset utilization, maintenance, and compliance.

    Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of IT asset records.

    Operate independently and set priorities on the fly to achieve both short and long-term goals.

    Collaborate with various teams across the organization as needed.

    Collaborate and partner with the IT Purchasing/Procurement Lead on identifying manual processes to automate

    Nice to Haves:

    Basic IT Troubleshooting Skills

    Understanding of IT Hardware Components

    Experience with Asset Tagging and Labeling

    Ability to Operate Material Handling Equipment
