    Inserter Operator I - 1st or 2nd Shift

    Summary

    O'Neil Digital Solutions (ODS) is a large print manufacturer that provides services for companies in the healthcare and finance space. Currently, ODS is looking to hire result driven candidates to fill roles as machine operators 2nd Shift schedules at our manufacturing plant in Plano, TX. The Machine Operator will be assigned to a specific printing machine, based on experience. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment.

    Schedule

    1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
    2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm- 11:00 PM

    Compensation and Benefits

    • $ $18.50 Hourly + 10% hourly Shift differential ($1.70 - $1.80) = $ $19.80 total pay

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set up equipment at the beginning of each job according to the specifications provided on the job ticket
    • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed
    • Keep work area in order and follow prescribed safety regulations
    • Make adjustments as required to return output to the proper specifications
    • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager
    • Communicates status of jobs to department manager
    • Follow standard operating procedures according to the department's guidelines
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • A minimum of two years of experience in printing, machine operating, or manufacturing environment
    • High school graduate, or completion of GED.
    • Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
    • Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
    • Challenge conventional practices and use creativity to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization
    • Support and meet company/department goals and core values
    • Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals
