    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Work on the production floor performing various tasks and operating machines.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.


    • Understands, supports, and implements high performance work team skills into daily work habits


    • Arrives at the assigned workstation, ready to work at the start of his/her scheduled shift


    • Works scheduled overtime when required


    • Maintains the standard rate of production


    • Maintains the highest standard of quality


    • Maintains the highest standard of housekeeping


    • Maintains the highest standard of safety practices


    • Rotates and cross-trains within the workplace


    • Operates machines to produce parts


    • Insert material into the machines


    • De-gating runners on parts
    •

    Complete in-process quality checks.


    • Online inspection


    • Ensures the equipment is operating properly


    • Keeps area neat and clean and stocked with material


    • Performs inspections on jobs in high intervals


    • Maintains a high level of quality in every job


    • Alert maintenance as necessary for any mechanical issues


    • Complies with all established safety guidelines and work instructions


    • Other duties as required
