Production Engineering Intern - South Boston, United States - Hitachi Data Systems
Description
General Information:
As a Production Engineering Intern, you will be supporting the Production Engineers to drive Continuous Improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools.
Your Responsibilities:
Support Production Engineers with projects and tasks.
Team member of Kaizen events (5s, Waste Reduction, Standard work).
Waste Observations.
Data Entry.
Create and modify manufacturing procedures.
Improve Health, Safety, and Environmental performance by completing Activity-Based Risk Assessments.
Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background:
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Preference in CAD.
Communicating Skills.
Motivated.
Currently enrolled in an accredited university program in the US.
