    Medical Assistant Position at Illinois Dermatology Institute

    We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team at Illinois Dermatology Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Handle various administrative tasks efficiently
    • Assist medical staff with routine clinical procedures
    • Communicate with insurance companies regarding billing processes
    • Accompany patients to examination rooms

    Our busy dermatology office in Lakeview is currently in search of a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Derm Tech to become a valuable addition to our team.     Responsibilities for Certified/Registered Medical Assistant:

    • Room patients using EMR
    • Provide scribing support
    • Assist Providers in general dermatology, surgery, plastic surgery, and cosmetics
    • Conduct patient triage
    • Handle prescription refills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and follow instructions

    Requirements:

    • Current CMA, RMA, CDT certification
    • Prior experience in Dermatology or Plastics preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinical environment
