    Description

    Job Description:

    At [Company Name], we are looking for a skilled and experienced Application Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about software development and enjoy working on all phases of the application development lifecycle, then this role is perfect for you.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Designs, develops, and implements new application components and complete applications
    • Evaluates, designs, and implements complex modifications to existing applications
    • Collaborates with various teams to recommend system enhancements for continuous improvement
    • Oversees application components for performance enhancement
    • Produces detailed technical documentation
    • Maintains a deep understanding of business processes to provide accurate solutions
    • Develops, maintains, and enhances high-quality software code
    • Provides support to resolve production problems

    Education and Experience:

    Coursework in computer science or related field

    3-5 years of relevant work experience

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong critical thinking abilities
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Experience with Agile methodology
    • Strong continuous software development capabilities
    • Knowledge of modern programming languages, database languages, and operating systems
    • Database design and schema knowledge

    Responsibilities:

    • Participates in application development lifecycle activities such as architecture, design, and testing
    • Ensures coding, architecture, and security best practices are followed
    • Maintains understanding of business processes for accurate solutions
    • May review and test the work of other developers

    Must have experience building public facing applications using:

    - Object Oriented Analysis and Design

    - AWS Services - Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, API Gateway, ECR

    - Terraform

    - Typescript

    - Jest unit test framework

    - Docker

    - Git

    Experience with the following desired:

    - Other AWS Services (e.g. RDS, ECS)

    - NodeJS

    - GitLab

    - Angular v16+

    - Python

    - Cypress

    - Other OOP language experience (Java)
