- Competently perform all assigned departmental duties
- May perform Pre-Analytical tasks (receipt, qualification, and preparation of samples for testing), CLIA waived tests, and moderate and/or high complexity testing on patient, donors, or biologic products using routine chemistries utilizing automated / semi-automated methods with internal support systems
- Recognize and report unusual test results in a timely manner to appropriate management
- Operate equipment utilizing established protocols and within quality control limits
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or technical problems and take appropriate steps to resolve
- Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare and maintain reports/records and perform computer data entry
- Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a scientific discipline
- 1-2 years of previous automated testing experience
- 1-2 years of experience working in a heavily regulated lab setting by CLIA and/or FDA
- 7a-7:30p
