    Join us in this missionWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Supply Chain organization as a Distribution Specialist I, to support operations at our commercial Cell Therapy TCF03 El Segundo, CA facility.


    Responsibilities:
    Plan, oversee, and participate in the materials management operations and activities to support production operations team and other internal customersManage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activitiesReceive incoming shipments of non
    • GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established proceduresDispense and kit GMP materials to support production operationsPrepare and deliver raw materials, samples, finished product, etc.
    to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followedMaintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materialsPerforming inventory cycle countsPerform accurate ERP transactionsMonitor Kanban area to ensure optimum replenishment of materialsCommunicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriateCross-train in all areas of the warehouse operationsPick, Pack, and Ship finished product, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and proceduresKeep warehouse operation clean and inspection ready at all timesAssist in the revision of area SOPsAdditional duties as assigned.
    These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.


    Basic Qualifications:
    High School Diploma and 1+ years experience in Manufacturing, Biotech or Pharma

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Ability to adhere to all safety procedures at all timesKnowledgeable of the (cGMPs) current Good Manufacturing Practices, and (GDP) Good Documentation PracticesAble to lift 25lbsFork lift certificationAbility to work on off shift hours as needed; weekend shiftsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to adapt in a constantly evolving environmentSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibilityExcellent collaboration skills and able to work well in a diverse , inclusive, team-based environmentJob Description At Gilead, were creating a healthier world for all people.

    $44, $56, Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.For additional benefits information, * Eligible employees may participate in benefit plans, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
