Continuous Improvement 0DOVER
Project Lead: 0DOVER is a corporate program to implement continuous improvement and advanced lean principles into practice. The journey consists of six elements across all departments. The certification process for each individual element is estimated to take 12 to18 months to accomplish. The complexity of certification requirements increases with each level.
This role will include ownership in driving completion and certification of each element as well as training the teams and individuals in compliance and performance to the standards.
QA, Production, NPI support:
Working as part of quality assurance group, this engineer would ensure the quality of products through the application of standard QA practices and adherence to quality system as directed by ISO 9001:2015.
Typical responsibilities for this position would include planning and coordination of quality programs and activities to ensure the quality and reliability of products.
Assure the timely, accurate evaluation of product performance and compliance to safety and regulatory requirements prior to manufacturing and market release.
Develop, execute, and perform quality plans and quality engineering tasks, as well as manufacturing process validations and controls to ensure compliance with established requirements and regulatory expectations.
Provide support for released products, evaluate product field performance and reliability recommend corrective actions. Plan for continuous improvement duties as assigned. Promotion of overall QMS awareness and enforcement.Direct Reports:

JOB DUTIES:
Continuous Improvement 0DOVER Project Lead Interface with Dover assigned regional operational excellence representatives. Be the OK International lead on the 0DOVER certification requirements for each individual element. Receive training and train team members on continuous improvement methods to support operation excellence. Facilitates and leads Kaizen events by applying DMAIC process. Perform within the metrics and associated KPI's across affected departments at each stage. Perform DOVER compliance audits. Achieve corrective action completion as applicable. Ensure annual certification completion goals are met pertaining to each individual element. Attend 0DOVER compliance quarterly status meetings. Escalate roadblocks as required.
QA, Production, NPI Propose and Implement process changes to improve efficiency, productivity and overall effectiveness of Inspection and Product qualification processes.
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as electrical and mechanical.
Determine critical dimensions and devise control plans, sampling plan and procedures. Design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Evaluate existing and potential supplier systems and processes. Perform supplier assessments and process validation audits as required.Participate in the Design Control Process, review design inputs (specifications) and design outputs (reports, prints, etc.) to assure that appropriate design requirements are specified and to evaluate/confirm quality requirements prior to successful design transfer.
Review, approve and develop (as needed) product verification plans and respective test methods through the development of a Protocol/Final Report based validation process.
Participate in Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process to review and approve engineering change requests.Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) to review and disposition nonconformities and to work with Supplier Quality Engineering to coordinate supplier corrective actions.
Work with Manufacturing to coordinate and monitor production processes to ensure compliance to applicable regulatory requirements, to ensure that safe and effective products are produced and to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Provide validation support by applying manufacturing quality tools including, but not limited to:FMEA, control plans, process verification/validation plans, CPK, SPC, DOE and process data analysis.
Participate in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products, and issues resulting in a stop ship/stop production; document findings, provide reports and analysis, & document health risk assessment.
Author documents and procedures as necessary to ensure continual departmental compliance. Design and validate new custom tooling for use on production assembly lines. Lead projects involving automation of existing assembly processes. Other dues assigned.SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline. Six Sigma Green Belt Certified or higher. Master's Degree preferred.
