    This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location in Loveland, CO and part-time remotely from your home.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Software Quality Assurance Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute testing for newly developed Hach solutions. You will be able to test strategies, draft test plans, document/confirm defects are resolved, while mentoring others collaboratively This position will play a key role in developing innovative solutions while making an impact in water quality.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (i.e., developers, system engineer, verification engineer) on test strategies.
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
    • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
    • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
    • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
    • Mentor and train junior SQA Engineers on best practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The ideal candidate is a talented professional who can develop talent, foster innovation and deliver results. Must have:

    • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, writing test plans and test cases.
    • Experience with SQL, scripting and test automation.
    • Understanding of hardware prototype bring-up, debug and fault detection.
    • Experience with common SQA/firmware management tools (i.e., Zephyr, JIRA, etc.)
    • Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies and processes.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrated experience with unit testing is a plus.

    Hiring into this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possible credit history review.

    The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.

    This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
