    Requirements:

    • Masters degree in educational administration or human resources
    • 3 years experience in a human resources role in a public personnel administration and management

    FLSA:
    Exempt


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages the daily activities of the District's human resources department for certified and classified staff.
    • Prepares and manages the staffing budget and allocations for certified and classified staff.
    • Provides support and information to teachers about teacher certification.
    • Provides professional development to all District administrators/leaders regarding implementation and use of both the certified and classified evaluation instruments, discipline procedures, investigative documents and summaries and employee management systems.
    • Maintains salary data based on market comparisons.
    • Manages part-time staff, substitutes, and related contracted partnerships.
    • Provides input in the development of District policies and procedures and implements Board of Education policies and procedures, including federal and state mandates relating to employment.
    • Manages the recruitment and selection of teaching staff, administrators, office, and maintenance employees, maintaining open relationships with universities and institutions that provide applicants.
    • Manages partnerships involved with alternative paths to teacher certification. .
    • Oversees partnerships with universities and placement of student teaching experiences and internships
    • Oversees and manages human resources software platforms.
    • Screens, interviews and makes recommendations regarding employment in collaboration with principals and other district leaders.
    • Works collaboratively in the planning and facilitating of new staff orientation.
    • Implements, and monitors the employees evaluation systems.
    • Provides guidance and counsel in employee relations matters.
    • Collaborates with the district leaders and principals in hiring and tenure decisions.
    • Serves as the District's representative in salary discussions and employee relations issues with employee groups.
    • Serves as the district compliance officer for Board Policy AC and the district's Title IX Job Description - Executive Director of Human Resources coordinator.
    • Responsible for regular updates and presentations to the Board of Education regarding key initiatives involving the HR department, inclusive of closed session personnel presentations.
    • Participates in the development of the district's academic calendar and creates work schedules for employees based on the adopted calendar.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
    Annual Salary Range for the

    School Year:
    $118,977 - $173,167

    (dependent upon experience and qualifications)


    All persons recommended for employment must pass an extensive background check through the Division of Family Services, the Missouri Highway Patrol, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
