    Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing practice.

    We are looking for a motivated candidate with attention to detail, a passion to continue to develop as a professional, and a desire to be part of a strong team.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Perform and/or review finite element analyses for underground structures
    Design and detailing of reinforced concrete structures
    Prepare and/or review design drawings, reports, and technical specifications
    Provide periodic construction observation and consultation
    Perform task and project-level management and coordination duties

    Required Skills/Experience:
    Strong work ethic and desire to perform professionally at a high level
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
    Professional Engineering license to practice structural engineering in California or ability to seek reciprocity upon employment
    15+ years of relevant work experience
    High proficiency with ACI 318 and ACI 350
    Experience with computer-aided structural analysis and finite element modeling
    Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
    Ability to seek licensure as a Professional Structural Engineer in Hawaii and Washington State.
    Knowledge/experience with seismic design

    Other Requirements:
    Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
    Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
    The salary range for this opportunity is between $145,000 to $170,000.
