**Regional Sales Manager - North Dakota**
Grand Forks, ND / Sales / Full-time **Pattern Ag** is leveraging advances in genomics, data science, and microbiology to help farmers improve the productivity and profitability of their land. By applying genomic analysis to farm soil, we unlock a wide range of predictive insights that help farmers optimize their spend on seed, crop protection, and fertility inputs. Combining these insights with the latest in digital sensing, data science, and machine learning, we are ushering in the era of predictive agriculture, powering on-farm decision making for millions of acres, and billions in crop spend.
The Regional Sales Manager works directly with Agents to deliver an excellent customer experience by introducing, training and advising on our product platform. Patterns product provides soil insights and visibility of harmful insect pests and pathogens so growers can proactively plan for the next season and crops can reach their full potential. Pattern Ag is looking for a mission aligned and motivated Regional Sales Manager to help us scale our product to many growers. As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting sales agents, training, advising and executing on the Pattern product offering within the territory. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with our internal product and science teams to help shape the direction of our research and development and customer experience. **Skills and Requirements**
+ BS degree, preferably in Agriculture or a related field
+ 2-5 years of successful selling to or working with customers in the field of Agriculture
+ 2+ years setting up and selling to the retail and/or seed channel is preferred but not required
+ Farming experience is a plus, but not required
+ Experience with solution sales and a consultative sales approach
+ Interest in, and experience with, working alongside product and science teams to help inform product development and discovery
+ Understands our purpose, core values and how Pattern will change agriculture
+ Has a hunter mentality
+ Able to quickly build and maintain trust
+ Ability to distill technical results in to actionable recommendations

**Responsibilities**
+ Define and execute sales effort across the region to enroll farms with Pattern Ag through sales Agents
+ Plan and coordinate in field operations in support of the offering
+ Deliver key results and work with customers to drive decisions and outcomes based on our recommendations
+ Ensure customer satisfaction through a relentless focus on understanding the customer problem, and potential solutions
+ Collaborate with internal product and science teams to inform product discovery and development
+ Build a network of Seller Agents to support direct selling efforts
+ Meet administrative and communication needs
