    Description


    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the accounting team for one of our clients in Coppell, TX.

    The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for the organization's tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes.

    The successful candidate will work with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities.

    He or she will work with financial management within the company and third-party service providers.


    Responsibilities:

    Tax Planning:
    Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.

    Tax Policy:
    Manage the development and implementation of tax policy and procedures to optimize taxes.

    3.


    Tax Forecasting:
    Manage regular tax forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts are provided to relevant stakeholders.

    4.


    Tax Provision:
    Prepare or review the company's income tax provision.

    5.


    External Auditors:
    Coordinate audits with external auditors.

    6.


    Compliance:
    Manage the preparation and review of tax returns and quarterly/yearly income tax projections.

    7.


    Reporting:
    Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.

    8.


    Research:

    Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.

    Income tax experience.

    Previous professional experience using SAP or Avalara/AvaTax
    2 years of full cycle tax accounting experience.

    Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

    Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field of study.
