    Description
    Position Summary

    Milliman, GCS is looking to hire a SDET (Software Development Engineer In Test).

    As an SDET with a focus on Selenium automation, the person in this role will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software applications.

    This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and quality assurance professionals, to design, implement, and execute automated test scenarios.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for quality, and extensive experience with Selenium for web application testing.

    We are seeking candidates who can work in Pacific Time Zone (PST)

    Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with C#/Java for web applications.
    Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    Implement and follow the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for test automation.
    Execute and manage automated test suites using NUnit/MSTest.
    Generate detailed and interactive test reports using Extent or HTML Reports.
    Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
    Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the maintainability and reliability of automated test scripts.

    Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.

    Implement and maintain test data and test environments required for automated testing.
    Contribute to the development and improvement of software testing processes and methodologies.
    Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to software testing and test automation.

    Skills & Qualifications Required

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of SDET experience on Microsoft stack.
    The ideal candidate must have strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.NET
    The ideal candidate must have an In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and other relevant automation tools and frameworks.
    The ideal candidate must have previous experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
    The ideal candidate must have previous experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
    Must have a solid understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
    Must have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
    Must have worked with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.


    LOCATION:
    This is a remote position.

    Compensation


    The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $173,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.

    Family building benefits, including adoption and fertility assistance and paid parental leave up to 12 weeks for employees who have worked for Milliman for at least 12 months and have worked at least 1,250 hours in the preceding 12-month period.

    A minimum of 8 paid holidays
    Milliman covers 100% of the premiums for life insurance, AD&D, and both short-term and long-term disability coverage.
