Position Purpose
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for the proactive management of the client's technology infrastructure.
The TAM implements Solution Builders' best practices, process and documentation to reduce downtime, reduce reactive tickets, reduce risk, improve the user experience, and optimize technology ROI.
ResponsibilitiesOwns client technology alignment looking for configuration issues, risks, trends, and preventative maintenance items remotely and at client site(s) on a regular scheduled basis to prevent reactive issues or downtime.
Document and resolve technical configuration misalignment revealed during technical alignment process.Maintain client technology and process documentation.
Participates in regular scheduled business update meetings when technology and strategy discussion is required.
Helps lead client projects alongside the client relations team.
Identify project training needs and provide technical guidance to the Client Relationship Manager.
Review impact of new features and fixes and assess those against customers' organizational needs.
Review ticket system reports for stalled tickets, KPI's and indications of macro-problems causing reactive incidents.
Assist with incident response, investigation, and internal communication.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years IT Management or Project Mangement experience required
Minimum 2 years Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk/ServiceDesk or Windows Server Administration experience required
Strong understanding of network systems, Windows and Mac operating systems, printing systems and business applications required
Strong organizational, communication, written and verbal skills required
Familiarity with IT management consulting services is strongly preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
BS or BA degree in IT Management, IT Infrastructure, business administration, business communications or related field is strongly preferred
Microsoft Windows, Azure, Office 365 certifications preferred
