- Lead, direct, and manage all aspects of plant operations, such as production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and meet production goals.
- Manage product enhancement by coordinating feedback and decisions on technical modifications to enhance product performance, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure timely introduction of new and enhanced products to support manufacturing.
- Forecast and manage operational and capital budgets to achieve ROI and control expenses.
- Coordinate and supervise diverse teams to enhance organizational structure.
- Ensure employees meet performance goals, develop high-potential staff for future roles, and plan for succession within the Plant.
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards in plant facilities and programs.
- Cultivate a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
- Machine Shop experience and expertise in employee training on machinery is mandatory.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
- Possess 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced heavy industrial setting, including managerial roles.
- Must have extensive experience in a machine shop environment.
- Ability to lead a diverse workforce and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Apply an analytical mindset, with a focus on data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Capable of working independently and delegating efficiently to achieve various priorities and objectives.
- Demonstrate Lean Manufacturing experience and leadership skills in process improvement.
- Display a keen interest in coaching, motivating, and developing teams and individuals.
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing tools and methods.
- Willingness to travel to other plant locations as required.
