    Job Title: Senior QA

    Location-Type: Hybrid-Camden, NJ

    Start Date Is: 2 weeks from offer

    Duration: W2 contract

    Compensation Range: $40-$49/hr

    Job Description:

    Our client, a leading automotive brand, is seeking a Senior QA Consultant for their office in Camden, NJ. This is an onsite role requiring attendance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with compensation ranging from $40-49/hr. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in defining and executing quality assurance strategies, managing release processes, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch software products that meet the client's stringent standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define and document detailed test strategies, plans, and cases aligned with business acceptance criteria.
    • Coordinate release management and ensure release notes, system versioning, and smoke tests are executed efficiently.
    • Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities, supporting offshore teams to meet project milestones.
    • Review technical design documents and provide meaningful feedback.
    • Track, report defects, and collect metrics for daily/weekly testing status, metrics, and KPIs.
    • Design and maintain test scripts for both UI and API components.
    • Support troubleshooting defects for internal IT teams and 3rd-party partners.
    • Perform acceptance, regression, and API integration testing.
    • Facilitate defect triage meetings and prioritize bugs with business stakeholders.

    Must-Haves:

    • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in software quality assurance.
    • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Proven experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
    • Hands-on experience in both white-box and black-box testing.
    • Familiarity with automated testing tools.
    • Solid SQL and scripting knowledge.
    • Agile/Scrum development process experience.

    • Communication: Clear and logical communication in both writing and speaking.
    • Initiative: Self-starter, capable of identifying and acting on issues, options, and opportunities.

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience with performance and security testing.
