Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a
Help Desk Specialist. This is a full-time position based in the
Silver Spring, MD area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Windows Server 2019 support
- Hands on experience troubleshooting user Windows 10 systems, printers, servers, etc.
- This Desktop Support Specialist will handle level 1 & 2 tickets
- Work on multiple tickets or issues to satisfactory resolution. We use Jira as our ticketing system.
- Keeping systems updated with patches from SCCM
- Hardware support (desktop and laptops; printers; scanners)
- Meeting and conference support
- Active Directory account management
- IT policy support and implementation
- IT Security patching, incident reporting, security processes
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 23+ years of Service Desk/Help Desk support experience
- Windows Active Directory experience: user accounts, workstation accounts, groups, policy
- Windows PowerShell
