The Client Executive holds a field sales position accountable for retaining direct client contract value, expanding contracts, and introducing new products and services to drive growth.

The role focuses on specific major client accounts with a sales quota exceeding $1 million in contract value.

What you'll do:
  • Consult with C-level executives to devise and execute an effective enterprise-wide strategy enhancing the value delivered by Gartner's offerings
  • Manage accounts to boost customer satisfaction and drive retention and growth
  • Meet a quota of $1 million+ in contract value within a territory of major accounts
  • Ensure forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

What you need:
  • Several years of external consultative sales experience, particularly in high-tech (services, software, or hardware), with a track record of success
  • Proficiency in account planning and territory management
  • Ability to engage with C-level and senior-level contacts within large organizations
  • Intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales skills
  • Proven expertise in building strong client relationships by providing valuable strategic insights
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of the complete sales process lifecycle, from prospecting to closing
  • Bachelor's degree desired
