    Senior SEC Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    As a Senior SEC Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our Client's company external reporting and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and SEC requirements.

    • External Reporting Management: Oversee all aspects of the external reporting process, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Annual Proxy Statement. Manage EPS calculations, balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, and stockholders' equity statement.
    • Technical Accounting Expertise: Prepare technical accounting memos for management and assist with research, evaluation, and documentation of complex transactions. Provide insights on general corporate accounting matters.
    • SOX Compliance: Support accounting in SOX compliance, ensuring completion of monthly controls. Interact with internal and external auditors and tax consultants.
    • Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Perform journal entries for stock compensation, revenue recognition, and loyalty points. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analysis for various GL accounts.
    • Stock Administration: Assist in managing stock options/restricted stock administration, ensuring compliance with FAS 123R.
    • Month-end Closing Procedures: Conduct month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Audit Support: Prepare detailed schedules for quarterly and annual audits, collaborating closely with audit teams.
    • Special Projects: Support improvement initiatives and special projects to enhance financial reporting processes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
    • Public accounting experience.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
    • Experience in external reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
