- Ensures high level of customer service by acting as a coach, role model and sales leader.

- Uses effective controls to reduce shortage and mandates compliance by all associates to target shortage programs.
- Keeps district management informed of store issues, concerns and needs.

- Creates an environment in which assistant managers can grow and develop individual strengths.

- Evaluates associates performance quarterly and promotes open lines of communication through coaching and motivation. Responsible for conducting constructive feedback with regards to sub-standard performance.
- Oversees and disseminates any training needs or issues that corporate mandates.
- Communicates and coaches effectively to all levels across all departments.

Position Overview
The general manager position is responsible for managing a high-performing, high-volume store. This position concentrated on sales growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, recruitment, training and development and operations. The general manager position requires strong delegation, leadership and operational skills to effectively manage high volume performance. The position also requires previous experience managing a high-volume store or equivalent.
