- Leads the development of Stratascale's content marketing strategy in partnership with the Sr. Director of Marketing
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and marketing team members to product high quality content aligned to the Stratascale buyer's journey
- Oversees all content planning initiatives and manages day to day content production:
- Social media copywriting
- Website content management
- Email messaging development
- Sales and marketing collateral creation including eBooks, white paper, one pagers, win wires, and case studies
- Partners with creative team to develop briefs for video, graphics, and other design assets
- Acts as quality control for Stratascale content:
- Edit, proofreads, and improves company content using AP Style as a guide
- Ensures consistency in brand voice and writing style
- Conducts routine content audits and oversees organizational standards for content management and maintenance
- Identifies opportunities to enhance content through the addition of graphics, video elements, etc.
- Continuously measures and improves content performance
- Optimizes digital content based on SEO best practices and Google Analytics data
- Reports on the impact of content initiatives including influence on audience growth, client acquisition, and conversions
- Stays up to date on latest industry trends and client challenges to build compelling content across multiple mediums and distribution channels
- Provides support to communications team on press releases, internal newsletters, media placements, etc.
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for Stratascale and other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Marketing and executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in content-focused marketing roles (e.g., marketing specialist, content coordinator, copywriter)
- Excellent communication and writing skills with demonstrated knowledge of AP Style
- Experience in the IT industry and / or B2B professional services
- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
- Hands on experience with SEO and an understanding of web publishing requirements
- Expertise in social media platforms
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subject matter
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content
- Ability to define content strategies and align them to overarching business goals
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Hands on experience with WordPress or a similar Content Management System
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and social media reporting toolsets
- Ability to learn fast, absorb knowledge, and apply newly learned information
- Demonstrated experience generating content and collaborating on graphic design
- Ability to create compelling and exciting messages that help Stratascale differentiate from our competitors
- Ability to contribute to the design of effective, high-quality visuals
- Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to take ownership of assigned workload/projects and follow through to completion
- Passion for marketing, communications, and process efficiency
- Experience leveraging a marketing automation tool (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp) to build and manage email communications
- Content marketing certification from source like HubSpot, Adobe, Marketo, etc.
- Understanding of how to leverage Generative AI tools as a force multiplier for content creation
- Writing samples will be required during the interview process
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
