Major/Essential Functions
Complete research applications and submit updated documentation through the institutional Review Board (IRB)
Advising research personnel in preparing research protocols and subsequent submission for IRB review.
Maintaining IRB required record keeping and electronic data entry.
Assists with research subject consenting and schedule research appointments.
Attains and maintains comprehensive and up to date knowledge of human subject research protections and IRB operations.
Coordinate departmental research meetings.
Coordinates travel arrangements for conferences.
Assists in preparing conference poster presentations.
Assists with research grant logistics.
Assists Faculty in planning and developing clinical trials.
Assists with manuscript submission for publication.
Provides administrative support to faculty and residents, as needed.
Process and supervise research volunteers.
Assists with department education conferences.
Provides administrative back-up coverage to the Residency and Fellowship coordinators.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP's values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Research experience with human subjects.Experience with IRB platforms (IRIS, IRBNet, etc.)
Knowledge of good clinical and academic practices in conducting research.
Bachelor's degree or field related experience.
