    A highly innovative Medical Device company with 2 billion in funding is expanding its team in Connecticut, Guilford. They are dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare.

    Their goal is to democratize access to rapid, cost-effective home and point-of-care diagnostics by leveraging software, hardware, chemistry, and biology breakthroughs.

    The aim is to provide timely diagnoses and treatment, ultimately improving patient outcomes, reducing costs, and enhancing the experience for healthcare providers.

    The Engineering team designs and develops the physical components for our innovative products, at the intersection of medical diagnostics and home technology.

    They envision a future where self-testing is seamless and diagnostics happen at home.


    In this role, you will:
    Lead hardware electrical systems architecture
    Create original designs for cutting-edge In-Vitro Diagnostics medical devices
    Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for rapid prototyping and testing of electrical systems
    Regularly update the team on progress
    Drive DFM and DVT analyses for electronic hardware designs
    Focus on designing for higher-volume, cost-effective manufacturing


    Requirements:
    Relevant degree
    5+ years of experience in designing robust electronic systems in any of the following industries: Medical Device/Defense/Aerospace/IoT/Automotive
    Proficient in Altium/Orcad/Cadence/PCB Pads or similar
    Proficient in electrical systems architecture, schematic capture, and PCB layout
    Proven ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to all phases of product development
    Skilled in component and circuit simulations for development and analysis
