- Conduct recruitment and marketing to ensure that all workforce development programs meeting their application goals and deadlines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral organizations and contacts
- Host information sessions for potential applicants for all programs
- Provide careful and timely assessment of applicants to determine program eligibility
- Conduct intake and enrollment activities for participants, including determining eligibility against grant requirements, collecting all enrollment eligibility documentation and completing paperwork
- Conduct participant academic and career assessments prior to program start dates
- Enrolls clients through PATH and files electronic documentation for each SNAP participant
- Collects and provides participation data for SNAP monthly reporting
- Develop and maintain outreach and marketing campaign to recruit applicants for programs.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key staff and partner organizations to promote YGB's workforce development programs and provide support with outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Host information sessions and outreach events to attract potential program applicants.
- Provide courteous and timely response to potential candidates interested in workforce programs.
- Guide candidates along personalized intake process to identify which programs fit career plans.
- Conduct interviews of candidates to develop interests and support enrollment in program
- Maintain excellent data and confidential recordkeeping system of applicants and participants.

About the Opportunity
The YMCA of Greater Boston's Education & Training Branch provides high-quality, integrated adult basic education and workforce development as well as key support services to immigrant, unemployed, an/or underemployed adult learners across the Greater Boston Area.
This position will play a key role in moving participants through the recruitment, outreach, intake, assessment and enrollment process for all workforce development programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and related work experience preferred
Experience in workforce development and/or adult education programs preferred
Experience in program management recruitment, and/or community engagement.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES/
KNOW HOW:
Knowledge and familiarity working with multi-cultural, diverse, and marginalized adult populations
Proven ability to manage program operations
MS Office and database skills.
Commitment to and knowledge of working with data to evaluate and improve program results.
