Summary:


  • The Director, Market Access Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing a distribution network for Pacira products to ensuring unfettered access to the product for patients and health care professionals. The individual will also be in charge of implementing and managing a customer service/reimbursement hub and specialty pharmacy for providers and patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned._
  • Build a commercial distribution model and network that provides unfettered access to Pacira products for health care providers and patients
  • Manage ongoing operational relationships with the distribution channel, including contracting, performance metrics, and data integration
  • Implement and manage a reimbursement/access hub to provide appropriate access services to health care prescribers/offices and patients, including the development and management of performance metrics
  • Manage accessrelated programs (e.g., charitable access, financial assistance)
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other commercial team members to meet common business objectives

  • This position will work closely with internal departments, such as Marketing, Field Sales, Strategic Accounts, Medical Affairs, and with external consultants.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 78 years working in access and distribution for a biotech or pharmaceutical company
  • 78 years managing external access partner relationships
  • Track record of operational excellence
  • Experience in access for a medical benefit and/or physician administered product required
  • Experience in market access for a product launch required
