    AMCAST is a leading manufacturer of premium mining wear parts and equipment dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients.

    As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented individual to join us as a Business Development & Outside Technical Sales Representative to establish two new product lines that we have added to our portfolio; Hydraulic hammer working tools and Ground Engaging Tools (GET).

    This role will cover the tri-state area of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, with potential for product development on the national level.


    Position Overview:


    As a Business Development & Outside Technical Sales Representative you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

    Combining business development with technical sales expertise, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and provide technical support and solutions to meet their needs by promoting two new product lines for the company.

    Target customers for these new product lines may include mines, quarries, concrete and asphalt recycling yards, and demolition & construction contractors, and eventually equipment supply companies.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and technical innovation.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
    Conduct sales visits to prospective clients, conducting needs assessments, presenting product demonstrations, and providing technical solutions.
    Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer service, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
    Lead sales efforts for technical products and solutions, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
    Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed.
    Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:


    3-5 years of experience in the Manufacturer and Services side of the construction and/or mining, quarrying, and recycling, or similar experience on the production side with a strong desire for a career in sales.

    Previous experience with hydraulic hammer working tools and GET preferable.

    Proven track record of success in business development and outside technical sales, with experience in the NJ, NY, CT territory preferred.

    Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex products and solutions, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to clients.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
    Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving sales targets.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges.
    Valid driver`s license and willingness to travel 70-90 percent of the time in the territory.
