    Our Social Media Managers are self-starters with a curious mind and a can-do attitude.

    Responsible for supporting, executing, and delivering on social media objectives, they have a unique love for consumer interactions and the intimate brand and product knowledge it takes to support our clients' marketing goals through social media initiatives.

    From producing eye-catching, scroll-stopping content, to engaging with followers, to facilitating brand and influencer partnerships, our social media managers do more than respond to posts.

    They are best-in-class insight gatherers, strategic thinkers, makers/creators and we believe, they're the next generation of modern marketers.
    ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage social media communities and strategies Uncover insights, identify opportunities, and generate ideas that arise from conversations with social communities Build and manage a rich content/editorial strategy that attracts target audiences and in order to keep audiences engagedWork with brand and account teams to generate ideas and produce original content that can be utilized across multiple social media marketing channelsHelp to present, refine, and sell in social content ideas for client considerationTrack, measure, and audit social media KPIs including measuring the effectiveness of media campaignsAnalyze data to support insights, key takeaways, and optimizations on a regular basis in order to present monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for clientsKeep a pulse on industry trends and the health of our client's business in social and digital; sharing out learnings with team members on a regular basis and contributing to client POVs as requestedElevate the quality of our work overall by providing constructive feedback, shared learnings, and guiding through experiencesUse TSL processes to deliver high-quality content to clientsPresent new ideas to improve performance across TSL client accounts and internal processes Competencies and RequirementsCOMPETENCIESStrong time management, organization, and prioritization skills in order to complete multiple client requests and deliverables in a timely mannerAble to roll with the punches and demonstrate adaptability in responding to change Act with a high level of professionalism in representing The Social Lights to clients and acting as a brand ambassador in the community Adept at collaboration and working within a team environment Able to ensure grammatical quality and maintain strong copywriting skills, both informative and creative writing stylesStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and timelinessEffective verbal and written presentation skillsREQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing or related communications field 1-3+ years experience in Marketing, Communications, and/or Social MediaAbility to work independently and take initiativeStellar copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills - writing samples requiredStrong analytical, planning, forecasting, and research skillsProficient in MS Office software and G suite Experience with Apple suite (Keynote, Pages, Numbers)Maintains confidentiality with business relations, personnel matters, and proprietary mattersBenefitsHealth Insurance (70% Employer Contribution)Dental Insurance (50% Employer Contribution)Vision (Voluntary)ST/LT/Life Insurance (100% Employer Coverage)HSA Contribution $100/mo401(k) Plan (Up to 4% Employer Match)Paid Time OffTechnology Enablement (Laptop)Cell Phone StipendParking PassSummer Hours + Flex Work OptionsPet-Friendly Office
