    About Us: Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate High School Science Teacher for a full-time, hourly contract position in Colorado Springs, CO.

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic High School Science Teacher to inspire and engage students in the exploration of scientific concepts, preparing them for academic success and future career opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for high school science courses, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science.
    • Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning and understanding.
    • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support growth.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support a cohesive learning experience for students.
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators regarding course expectations, progress, and opportunities for enrichment.
    • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom culture that respects diversity and promotes mutual respect and understanding.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field.
    • Valid Colorado Teaching License with endorsement in Science.
    • Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
    • Strong content knowledge in one or more science disciplines.
    • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the wonders of science.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
