    Hiring Opportunity for High School Science Teacher

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement innovative and inquiry-based lesson plans that align with state standards and district curriculum.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and promote active learning in the classroom.
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
    • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, and provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
    • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and provide additional support or enrichment as needed.
    • Collaborate with other science teachers and colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects.
    • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and academic expectations.
    • Participate in department meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
    • Valid teaching license or certification in the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain one).
    • Previous experience teaching high school science preferred.
    • Strong content knowledge in one or more areas of science.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
