Apprenticeship for OTA (f/m/d) 2023

We are looking for you

The 3-year apprenticeship for Operation Technical Assistance takes place in alternating practical and theoretical blocks, in different areas such as the operating department, endoscopy, outpatient clinic, and central sterilization. The theoretical subjects include professional knowledge, pharmacology, and law and civics.

Your profile:

You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate or a completed vocational training
You have a good command of the German language (minimum level B2)
You work carefully and can remain calm in stressful situations
There is no minimum age requirement for the OTA apprenticeship. However, you should preferably reach the age of majority within the six-month probationary period

For international applications, we also require:

Recognition of foreign school certificates and educational qualifications by the relevant authority
Proof of your German language skills (minimum level B2)
A residence permit for other training purposes in NRW (for non-EU applicants)

We recommend that you complete an internship in a healthcare facility before starting your apprenticeship.
