- Experience integrating technology into the Social Studies classroom

Job Summary
The Social Studies department at Marymount strives to create classrooms of diverse and inclusive viewpoints where all students have an equal sense of belonging. With that said, candidates should be able to work collaboratively to create and implement culturally responsive pedagogy. The Social Studies Teacher must have experience in developing and implementing a curriculum that is skills based and scaffolds historical and analytical writing. The teacher should have experience in teaching a variety of Social Studies courses and some knowledge of the College Board's Advanced Placement historical thinking skills. Successful candidates will provide a challenging curriculum (with the guidance of the department chair) that aligns with Marymount High School's mission and standards.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
