Responsibilities:

Global Service & Parts (GSP) is responsible for the worldwide parts and service business of Mercedes Benz AG. The GSP/OGI department manages processes for 42 wholesale locations worldwide at the Germersheim site.

In addition to tasks such as transport planning and managing 3PL partners, many other global projects are also managed by the OGI department.


The new project "Decentralized Material Flow Separation" deals with the end-to-end reverse logistics from dealers to the Global Logistics Center in Germersheim.

This process must be restructured globally in a project-oriented manner, taking into account ecological and economic aspects. In the end, DZM will have made an active contribution to sustainability in parts logistics.


These challenges will be part of your responsibilities:

Supporting the project management of DZM - Decentralized Material Flow Separation in all tasks, such as IT connections in specific after-sales IT systems, adjustments in transport and outsourcing of handling, sorting, and disposal activities.

Additionally, managing the rollout in global clusters, monitoring all timelines, especially regarding 3PL tenders and IT rollout coordination. Motivating and managing relevant stakeholders and partners within MS, GSP, IT, and FM.


Qualifications:

**Ideally, you bring the following with you: - Completed degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering with a focus on logistics/supply chain, or a comparable qualification

  • Logistics experience with a high level
