Job DescriptionFirst Call Professional is recruiting for a Temporary 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Greenfield, IN. If you are a dedicated professional seeking a dynamic role in Maintenance, we encourage you to apply. Join our client's great team and contribute to the excellence of their manufacturing operation.In this role the Maintenance Technician would need to have solid understanding/experience working with machines/repairs. Electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and some hydraulics.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronics for production equipment.
Performs work requiring knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles.
Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with procedures outlined in EOP documents.
Informs appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed or as needed.
Perform or assist in fabrication and routine machine checks.
Assists maintenance team with troubleshooting.
Participate in a teamwork atmosphere and promote team growth and development.
Will promote and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment through 5s activities and be responsible for proper material storage and waste disposal.
Ability to adapt to change.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

3+ Years of experience in maintenance.
Must possess general aptitude to apply mechanical and electrical/electronic principles in various troubleshooting and repair activities.
Must possess the ability for working under pressure, complete assigned tasks under stressful situations and deal with the stress or emergency situations.
Working knowledge and skill with highly sophisticated equipment and software.
Recognize and define problems, collect data, and develop conclusions.
Must have ability to use thinking and reasoning skills to solve a problem.
Display resiliency, ability to recover from, or adjust to, misfortune or setbacks.
Must be detail oriented - ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
Must be receptive to training and performing functions in multiple areas.
Must be highly motivated and high energy level. Must demonstrate ambition and the drive to achieve personal advancement.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and policies.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary and/or rotate a shift, if necessary.
