Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations and corporate financial planning.
Manage financial statements, reports, and audits.
Ensure legal compliance and prepare certified payroll reports.
Develop and implement financial strategies and budgeting processes.
Supervise accounting staff and manage day-to-day financial operations.
Implement and maintain internal controls.
Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
Provide strategic financial input on decision-making.
Liaise with external auditors and financial entities.
Oversee project accounting and financial performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
10+ years in financial management within the construction industry.
Experience with certified payroll and knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act.
Knowledge of construction accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software, Acumatica ideal (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a financial team.
Understanding of payroll tax regulations.
Ability to collaborate with project managers and stakeholders.

Required Skill Set:

Expertise in overseeing financial operations and planning.
Knowledge and experience with certified payroll compliance.
Understanding of construction-specific accounting practices.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Ability to analyze financial data.
Ability to manage and mentor a financial team.
