    Responsibilities:

    • Transforming nonprofit client financial departments
    • Financial reporting for management and Board decision making
    • Implementing improvements to accounting and compliance policies
    • Transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
    • Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Grant management and funder reporting
    • Preparing for and managing annual audits
    • Client and staff training

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for supporting non-profit organizations
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 5-7+ years of accounting experience
    • Experience in a remote work environment preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with GL packages, especially QuickBooks
    • CPA certification is a plus
