    Description

    The Clinical Development Director (CDD) is responsible for overseeing the clinical service delivery process, including providing individual and group supervision to LGPCs and interns, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through training and development initiatives.

    This is a full time salary exempt position. The hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. The starting salary is $85,000/year. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of 2 days in office per week at our Nottingham location, and with the expected flexibilty to come on site for required meetings and/or trainings, etc when needed.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Clinical Service Delivery
    • CDD will provide clinical services to a caseload with a minimum of 5-10 services per week.
    Supervision
    • CDD will provide individual and group supervision to LGPCs and interns. The volume of supervision will be determined by agency need and caseload capacity, assessed on an ongoing basis.
    • CDD will work with the Outpatient Mental Health Director to develop an ongoing intern program, and will maintain primary oversight of the intern program to ensure positive outcomes, productivity, and quality.
    • Supervise the completion of clinical documents in the OMHC. This includes ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner and its content is of sufficient quality. In addition, ensure that the clinical treatment flow is clear, comprehensive, and observable in the client file.
    • Supervise all clinical service delivery in the OMHC to ensure effective implementation and execution of clinical interventions and clinical supervision.
    • Ensure that all OMHC clinical services are consistently and appropriately documented (i.e. Therapy Services and all other clinical service delivery interventions.)
    • Proactively address service delivery concerns to resolve and mitigate barriers to effective and impactful service delivery.
    • Ensure the completion of all client assessments in the OMHC.
    • Ensure that each OMHC client has a current and comprehensive individualized treatment plan.
    • Ensure that each OMHC client has current and comprehensive treatment progress notes.
    • Ensure ongoing communication and coordination of services between Therapists and Medical Staff.
    • Ensure all components of Service Delivery to clients in all programs are aligned with the treatment and quality expectations of agency policies.
    • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with COMAR and Joint Commission regulations.
    • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to therapists within the OMHC.
    Policy and Procedure
    • CDD will participate in developing policies and procedures for new programs and service initiatives.
    Development
    • CDD will work with Executive Management and Outpatient Mental Health Director to identify opportunities for growth, including, but not limited to: advertising to clients (growing client census), programmatic expansion, and oversight of expansion projects. This includes participating in developing program proposals and participating in providing leadership during the launch and implementation of new programs.
    • CDD will work with the Outpatient Mental Health Director to develop an ongoing intern program, and will maintain primary oversight of the intern program to ensure positive outcomes, productivity, and quality.
    • CDD will develop and provide ongoing oversight for an LBE CEU program offered to both employees and outside professionals.
    Evaluation/Outcomes
    • Conduct evaluations on supervisees and interns as appropriate consistent with company policy
    • Identify and report on programmatic data and outcomes as appropriate
    Management
    • CDD will support in management of outpatient mental health clinic and expansion programs
    • CDD will participate in management meetings as scheduled
    Training
    • Participate in developing, coordinating and Co-facilitating in-service training experiences across programs.
    • Ensure Credentialed Staff maintain required CEU Training.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development training opportunities, as deemed appropriate.
    • Maintain programmatic enrollment with CE Approval Boards.
    Meetings
    • Facilitate group and individual supervision meetings with clinicians, administrators and, and Direct Care Staff as needed.
    • Attend Management Meetings as needed.
    • Attend Clinical Team Meetings as needed.
    • Attend Staff Meetings
    Qualifications: Minimum LCPC/LCSW-C required; seven or more years of experience working in a leadership capacity within a organization that serves youth and families in a social, educational, or recreational setting is preferred; or certified competency in program based therapeutic models along with familiarity with theories, principles, and practices related to Human Development and Family Strengthening.
