We, KM ZÜNDHOLZ INTERNATIONAL Karl Müller GmbH, have been producing, marketing, and distributing high-quality fire-related products worldwide since 1926, now in our 3rd generation. As a medium-sized family business based in Meckesheim near Heidelberg, we are the market leader in Europe for trade product groups such as lighters, matches, and fire starters.

Currently, we are looking for support for our "lighter team" in the area of sales support / order processing:


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Creating and calculating offers, including followup
  • Project management from receiving bids to international deliveries in the hazardous goods sector
  • Maintenance and monitoring of master data
  • Maintenance of customerspecific portals and product passes
  • Inventory checks and disposition
  • Processing of complaints and issuing credits
  • Communication with suppliers, customers, and shipping companies
  • Quality assurance according to given guidelines
  • Creating sales support and projectspecific documents such as statistics, evaluations, and overviews
  • Preparation for and participation in customer fairs

Your qualifications:


  • Commercial apprenticeship, ideally with experience in sales support / order processing
  • Computer skills (MS Office, ideally with SAGE merchandise management system)
  • Independent, efficient, and careful work style
  • Open to new tasks, willing to learn, and highly motivated
  • Enjoy working in a team and on projects
  • Knowledge of English and/or other languages is an advantage
